Afrika Cup Futsal 2024

Marokko speelt op 21 april de finale van de Afrika Cup Futsal 2024 tegen Angola. De winnaar kan zich naar het WK kwalificeren. Marokko staat nummer 08 op de ranglijst van de FIFA wiens baas Gianni Infantino zijn bezoek aan de finale op zijn Instagram heeft aangekondigd met onderstaand bericht:
 
“The beautiful country of Morocco has always been a warm host to me, to FIFA, as well as to all the participating teams in different football competitions over the years, and I am glad to be back amongst its football-loving people ahead of the 2024 CAF Futsal Africa Cup of Nations final. Good luck to both finalists - the hosts and Angola - as well as to everyone at @caf_online for closing out what has been a fantastic tournament so far.”
